Goodmans House



Goodmans dates back over 700 years but is dominated by the Georgian extension added to the house's East. The interior is decorated to enhance the remaining original feature, and you will have a warm welcome from Kerstin and Sean, the home's current custodians. The Bridal Suite is in the West Wing of the house upstairs, separated by its own small corridor. It comprises a spacious bedroom with a separate bathroom, with a bath and separate shower. Adjoining is a separate twin bedroom that can be used as a dressing room or for an infant.

A place of Tranquility



Goodmans House has grounds extending to around 8 acres of parkland and small lakes (or big ponds). With so many different special locations to enjoy the rural views of this area of outstanding natural beauty.

There are three gazebos on the grounds offering ideal locations for that special event or just to relax and enjoy a special moment. There is also a fire pit which can offer a lovely location for that evening BBQ or just drinks.

For larger parties we can offer our own marquee, specifically designed to fit on our South Lawn near the cottages. This makes an ideal location for a sit-down venue for up to 30 people.
